David M. DeLoria

World War II veteran

Lake Placid - David M. DeLoria, a recent resident of Conesus Lake Nursing facility in Livonia, passed away peacefully on Dec. 20, 2006. He was predeceased by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 63 years, Jeanette Perry of Lake Placid, N.Y. He is survived by his daughter Peggy Judd of Yaphank, Long Island and his son David P. DeLoria of Livonia; his grandsons, Michael and Paul; his great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Kevin. He is also survived by several DeLoria nephews and several great nephews and great nieces. David was retired from General Electric where he served as a Radar Technician in Syracuse, N.Y and in Shemya, Alaska for the Department of Defense. He was also a professional musician and a World War II veteran. He will be dearly missed by those who loved him. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, Dec. 29 from 7-9 at the Kevin Dougherty Funeral Home, Route 15 in Livonia. A private memorial service will be held for the family immediately following calling hours. Interment will be in the family plot in The North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Diane L. Stine

Geneseo/Bergen - Diane L. Stine, 46, formerly of Bergen, died Dec. 11, 2006 at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H.. Mrs. Stine was a resident of South Berwick, Maine, having moved there last May from Madbury, N.H. and prior to that overseas in Europe and also Portsmouth, N.H. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kevin R. Stine and two daughters, Katy and Brianna Stine, all of South Berwick, Maine; her parents, George and Betty Crabb of Geneseo; two brothers, David (Patricia) Crabb of Livonia and Daniel (Linda Teeter) Crabb of Geneseo; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Diane was born Oct. 8, 1960 in Batavia, N.Y. the daughter of George and Betty Smith Crabb. She was a graduate of Byron-Bergen High School and Grove City College in Grove City, Pa. No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 30 at 1 p.m. at St. Matthew Church, Route 20A in Livonia with Father John Hayes officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethany Church, 500 Breakfast Hill Rd., Greenland NH 03840, Attn: Diane Stine Memorial Fund. Arrangements: Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo.
