Margaret E. Betty Annis Margaret E. Betty Annis age 81 of Avon died Tuesday November 28, 2000 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born November 25, 1919 in Avon the daughter of Edward H. and Mae (Curry) Dooley. Betty was a graduate of St. Agnes School and Avon Central School. She was a member of St. Agnes Church and a past member of the Rosary Society, the Avon Garden club, she was a Girl Scout Leader and a member of a Bridge club. Betty was predeceased by her husband Howard S. Annis, her daughter Margaret Peggy Annis and her son-in-law Wayne S. Rose Sr. She is survived by two daughters Victoria Rose of Livonia and Mary Beth (Bud) Bergeron of Avon; four Grandchildren Stephen Rose, Jason, Brian and Laura Bergeron; two Great Grandchildren Haleigh and Daniel Bergeron; sister-in-law Dorothy Coyne of Avon and brother-in-law James G. Burdett of Pittsford; nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends called Friday at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc. in Avon. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at St. Agnes Church, Avon. Gascon, 87, South Main St., Hemlock, died Nov. 30, 2000, at the F. F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. She was born the daughter of Lewis and Laura Pfuntner Belcher on July 29, 1913, in Richmond, N.Y. She was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1974 and a grandson Rory. She is survived by her children, Rita (Clarence) Rath of Hemlock, Lewis (Priscilla) Gascon of Hemlock, Albert (Iona) Gascon of Indiana; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and one great grandchild; sister Mabel Proctor of Canadice; several nieces and nephews including Stanley Proctor of Canadice; and many dear friends. Friends called Sunday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15, Livonia where funeral services were held Monday with the Rev. Richard Hass officiating. Kast, Jr. age 79 of East Lake Road, formerly of West Lake Road, Honeoye died Sunday December 3, 2000 at his home. He was born the son of Charles and Mary Ryan Kast, Sr. on January 7, 1921 in Rochester, NY. He was a WWII Army Veteran , a member of the Honeoye Hemlock American Legion, a member of the VFW Post #7962. He was a member of St. Mary's Church in Honeoye. He was predeceased by his wife Marie on August 2, 1996 and a sister Mary Florita. He is survived by his children Cathie Konrad of Irondequoit, Paul (Sherry) Kast of Honeoye, Maureen (David) Washburn of Honeoye, Daniel (Anne Garvey) Kast of Honeoye. Grandchildren Kevin and Jason Kast, Sean and Shane Konrad, Tricia Mann, Nichole and Ashley Kast. Great grandchildren Savahnah, Joshua, Alec and Owen Konrad. Many nieces and nephews. Krause, 91, of Big Tree Road, Lakeville, died Nov. 29, 2000, at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. He was born the son of Charles and Sophie Vandermill on Nov. 12, 1909, in Rochester. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of the Harrison Lee American Legion Post #283 in Livonia Center and the VFW. He is survived by his wife Dorothy; his children, Lois Reese of West Henrietta, Joan (Ray) Joabs of Rochester, Edward (Dorothy) Krause of Rochester, Robert (Michele) Krause of Livonia; 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; brothers, John (Marie) Krause of Florida, Charles (Betty) Krause of Palmyra; sisters, Mildred (Ray) Simmons of Florida, Doris (Ralph) Gonyeau of Wolcott; several nieces and nephews. Leonard, 83, of Lima, died Nov. 25, 2000 at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. She was born March 18, 1917, in Howard, N.Y., the daughter of Philip Bessee and Carrie Bettinger. She was predeceased by her husband Howard W. Leonard in 1981 and son Howard Mick Leonard in 1996. Her hobbies included her love for birds and gardening at her Lima home. She is survived by her daughter Carol Rowlinson of Bloomfield, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Mass was held at St. Rose Church in Lima with Rev. John Hayes officiating. Contributions may be made to the Lima Volunteer Ambulance, P.O. Box 335, Lima NY 14485, in her memory. Miller Mickey, 68, of East Lake Road, Livonia, died Nov. 29, 2000, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born the son of William and Esther Schlegel Miller on Jan. 3, 1932, in Danville, Pa. He was a printer for 25 years with the Rochester City School District. He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth in 1993. He is survived by his sons, Steven and Ron Miller, both of Rochester; stepchildren, John Sunday of Rochester, Mary Ann Patterson of Ithaca, Irene Williams of Spencerport, Mary Joan Sutton of Rochester, Stanley Sunday of Livonia, Clifford Sunday and Ernie Jacobs, both of Canada; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Donald Miller of Bloomfield; sister Jean Matthews of Livonia; many nieces and nephews. Roxie Smith Roxie Smith of Lakeland, Fl formerly of the Holcomb and Lima area died Sunday December 3, 2000 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center at the age of 87. She was born in Lima, NY October 31, 1913 the daughter of Harold and Dolly (Brown) Plain. Predeceased by her first husband Karl Parrish in 1971. Roxie is survived by husband Marvel Smith of Lakeland, two daughters Connie Schillinger of White Stone, VA and Beverly Fraser of Honeoye Falls; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; three brothers Harold Plain of Wayland Vernon Plain of Lakeland and Ronald Plain of Lakeville; one sister Betty Lou Williams of Bloomfield; nieces and nephews.
