Dorothy M. Callaro

Dorothy M. (Hoffman) Callaro, 81, died Aug. 31, 2004. She was predeceased by husbands, Charles Hoffman Jr. and Samuel Callaro. She is survived by children, charles (Kathy) Hoffman III of Texas, Dorothy Hoffman of Lakeville, Lorraine (Dick) Person of Cohocton, Fredrick Hoffman of Lakeville, Fran (Alice) Hoffman of Rochester; grandchildren, Richard Person, Justina and Robin Hoffman, Charles (Angie) Hoffman IV; sister Leona Grube of Unadilla, N.Y.; brother, Everett Valentine; and beloved pets, Sheebe and Terri Terry. May E. Grisewood

Geneseo resident

May E. Grisewood, 90, a retired production worker for Mallory Timers in Warsaw where she worked for over 20 years, died Sept. 4, 2004 at her residence on Melody Lane in Geneseo. Mrs. Grisewood had previously resided on New Road in Leicester. She is survived by her children, Gerald (Nancy) Grisewood of Warsaw, Gail Chasey of Geneseo, James and William Grisewood, both of Gainesville, Catherine (John) McDonald of Leicester; 15 grandchildren, many great granchildren; a brother, Harvey (Louise) Van Orman of Hornell; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray. She was born June 21, 1914 in Canisteo, N.Y., the daughter of Elmer and Nellie (Kent) Van Orman. Visitation was held Sunday at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services were held Sept. 7 with Rev. Neil Frood of the York United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment, Maple Grove Cemetery in Gainesville. Memorial may be made to Livingston County Hospice, Livingston County Campus, Bldg. #2, Mt. Morris NY 14510.
