Glenn E. Dayton Jr.

Glenn Earl Dayton Jr., 82, of Avon, formerly of Webster, died Aug. 22, 2006. He was born Jan. 20, 1924 at Dayton¹s Corners in Webster to Faythe Outwater and G. Earl Dayton. He was the beloved husband of Roberta DePoint, who predeceased him on April 25, 2006. He was a loyal husband, father, brother and son. He is survived by three daughters, Donna (Edward) Ball of Warren, Pa., Christine (Arturo) White-Hernandez and Amy (Charles) Dayton-Leonard, both of Avon; six grandchildren, David (Jane) Ball, Emily (David) Whaley, Glenn and Christopher White, Peter and Grace Leonard; three step grandchildren, Paul (Kelly), Steve and Julie Hernandez; step great grandchildren; two sisters, Sara Brewer and Lucretia Hartung; several nieces and nephews. Glenn and Roberta were married on Jan. 20, 1943 in Webster. Glenn graduated from Webster High School in 1942 and Cornell University in 1950, after managing a farm on Harris Road with his father and grandfather. He was a long-time banker at Marine Midland Bank, comptroller of Alling-Lander Gear Company in Sodus and realtor for Franklin Realty Company in Webster. Glenn was respected by friends and community and he will be missed by all who knew him. Family and friends are invited to his Committal Service at West Webster Cemetery, Ridge Road, West Webster, Sept. 9 at 1:30 p.m. Memorials may be made in his name to Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo NY 14454. William A. French

Geneseo - William A. French, 73, died Aug. 16, 2006. He was born the son of Charles and Minnie Smith French on May 3, 1933 in Hornell, N.Y. He was an LPN at St. James Hospital in Hornell. He was a member of the Eagle Lodge and Moose Lodge in Hornell. He is survived by his wife Joan; sons, Edward (Michelle) French of Livonia, William French of Wayland, Robert French serving in the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, Va; daughter Melynda (Carmen) Angiolillo of Syracuse; grandchildren, Luke Angiolillo, Brooke and Shawn French, Sadie George and Alexis Coleman. Friend were invited to attend services Monday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, Reservoir Road in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo NY 14454. Ivan C. Smith III

Mt. Morris-Conesus - Ivan C. Smith III, 51, died Aug. 14, 2006. He was born the son of Ivan C. Smith II and Edith Huntone on Feb. 28, 1955 in Rochester. He was a guard and Transporter for the State School at Industry. He is survived by his sister, Edith “Dee” Ellis or Rochester; nephews, Timothy (Gina) Ellis and Matthew (Alicia) Ellis; great-niece, Sarah Grace Ellis; great-nephew, Owen Timothy Ellis. Friends called Wednesday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Route 15 in Livonia where services were held Thursday. Burial, Arnold Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Morris Ambulance, Mt.
