Louise B. Baker

Mumford resident

Louise B. Baker, 90 , of Mumford, died May 22, 2005 at the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Home in Geneseo. The daughter of Leonard and Irene Buchanan, Mrs. Baker was born August 19, 1914 in North Tonawanda, N.Y. She and her late husband, Harry, owned and operated Bakers Farms and Greenhouses for many years. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, Mumford. Mrs. Baker is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Eileen and Rick LaFave of Caledonia; son and daughter-in-law, Eric J. and Jane Baker of Mumford; grandchildren, Erika (Ryan) Griffin, Monica (James) VanHorn, Gretchen and Garrett Baker, Michelle (Tim) Holtz, Tamara (Christopher) Gamble, three great-grandchildren; brother, William Buchanan, several nieces and nephews. Friends called May 25, 2005 at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Her Funeral Service was held May 26 at the First United Presbyterian Church, 893 George St. in Mumford. Her interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church ora charity of your choice.

Evalena E. Craigmile

Geneseo resident

Evalena E. Craigmile, 79, of Geneseo, formerly of Attica, died June 6, 2005 at Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. She was born Feb. 10, 1926 in Marion, N.Y., the daughter of the late Irvin E. and Marion Geer Foote. Mrs. Craigmile was the president of Craigmile Company, a management consulting firm in Geneseo. She also was a realtor for over eight years for Mack Realty. A member of Attica Presbyterian Church, she was also a life member of Thorpe Chapter #462 Order of the Eastern Star, Attica. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Charles N. Craigmile of Geneseo; three children, Charles I (Judith) Craigmile of Syracuse, Constance A. Sincebaugh of Buffalo and David N. (Kimberly) Craigmile of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Margaret Goldberg. Friends called Thursday at Marley Funeral Home, 135 Main St. in Attica; an Eastern Star service was also held prior to the Funeral Service. Burial, Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Attica Presbyterian Church, Main St., Attica NY 14011.

Rose A. D'Imperio

Mt. Morris - Rose A. D'Imperio, 91, died June 10, 2005. She was predeceased by her husband Louis in 1987. She is survived by a son, Anthony (Louise) D'Imperio; daughter Carol Mixon; sisters, Angie (Joseph) Cappadonia, Josephine Inguaggiato, all of Mt. Morris and Helen Capotelli of Caledonia; her brother Sam Trubia of Avon; sister-in-law Marion Trubia of Caledonia; four grandchildren, Rhonda Pfaff, Brian Mixon, Anthony and Joseph D'Imperio; two great grandchildren, Julia and Larry Pfaff; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Anna Mae Hulburt

York resident

Anna Mae Hulburt, 81, a resident of the Livingston County Campus Skilled Nursing Home in Mt. Morris, died there June 11, 2005. Mrs. Hulburt lived on York Road West in York prior to her entry into the nursing home in April of this year. She is survived by one son Scott (Karen) Hulburt of York; two grandsons, Geoffrey Hulburt of Elmira, David Hulburt of York; six sisters, Dorothy (Frederick) Hackett of Pavilion, Betty Boyd of York, Mary (William) Carson of Geneseo, Agnes Henley of York, Margaret (Carlton) Gregg of Cuylerville, Patricia (Ray) Wolfe of York; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband George Bayne Hulburt in 1984. She was born May 13, 1924 in York, the daughter of David and Mabel Dale Rossborough. She was a member of the York United Presbyterian Church. Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday. Funeral Services were held June 15 at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Neil Frood of the York United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial, Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. John D. MacPherson

World War II veteran

John D. MacPherson, 82, died May 5, 2005 in Burlington, Ontario. He was born July 31, 1922 in Caledonia, the son of the late Dr. Peter and Elizabeth McPherson. A World War II veteran, he served in the U.S. Air Force in the Aleutian Islands. He retired from Delco Products in 1988. Known to his friends as “Mickey,” he was an active member of the Caledonia-Mumford Sports Booster Club and was an inductee to its Hall of Fame in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Graham MacPherson of Burlington, Ontario, a nephew, Bruce Davies of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, a niece, Deborah McCoy of Yucaipa, California and a great-niece, Sarah McCoy of San Diego, California. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18 at 11:00 a.m. at the Caledonia United Stone Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charles Leport presiding. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Caledonia United Stone Presbyterian Church.

Maryann Mancuso

Mt. Morris resident

Maryann Mancuso, 76, of 33 Pine Cone Lane, Mt. Morris, died June 9, 2005 in Leicester. She was born on Aug. 19, 1928 in Redding, Pa. Prior to her retirement, she worked cleaning several area homes for many years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church in Mt. Morris. She is survived by three children, Anthony (Patty) Mancuso Jr. and Linda Vasquez, both of Mt. Morris and Rosemary (Todd) Lubanski of Leicester; three stepchildren, David and Chris Mancuso, both of Silver Springs and Jimmy Mancuso of Perry; five grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth in 2001. Friends called Friday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408) in Mt. Morris where prayers were said Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Joshua Nelson

Springwater - Joshua “Toes” A. Nelson, 22, passed away June 11, 2005. Josh was born Feb. 15, 1983 on Long Island, N.Y. the son of Christine Nelson. He spent the first few years of his life on Long Island and then moved to the Adirondacks for approximately 10 years. Since then, he has resided in the Wayland and Springwater areas. “Toes” was a graduate of Wayland-Cohocton Central School that always loved to laugh and smile. He was always fun to be around and a gathering of his friends or a party wasn't the same without him. Joshua's best friend Julia Shaffer said he was the best friend you could ever ask for. He was dedicated to his friends, had a huge heart, and would do anything for them. “Toes” was also a very determined individual that once he set his mind to do something, he did it. He was also a very talented basketball player and he liked to box. Josh's love for his mother and for his pet dog, Egor was unconditional. He was a very thoughtful, caring and respectful person that will truly be missed by all his family and his large circle of friends. His absence will create a void that will be filled by the memory of his smiling face and the bond of his dedicated friendship. Joshua was predeceased by his grandfather, William Nelson; his aunt Deborah Nelson. He is survived by his mother, Christine Nelson of Springwater; his grandmother, Rosemarie Nelson of Avoca; his uncle, Thomas Nelson of Springwater; his aunt Patricia Chapman of Hornell; his best friend, Julia Shaffer; and a special friend Jernee Smalt and many other friends. Family and friends called Tuesday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St. in Wayland. His Funeral Service was conducted Wednesday at the Funeral home with Pastor Dennis Swart of the Springwater Church of the Nazarene officiating. Contributions in Joshua A. Judith L. Pascuzzo

Greigsville resident

Judith L. Pascuzzo, 65, died June 12, 2005 at her residence, 3665 Pascuzzo Lane in Greigsville, surrounded by her family. Her life was full and her passions many. ..her children, grandchildren, sewing and golf to name a few. Her skills and artistry for quilting will live on forever in the generations to come, being passed down as a legacy to us from our mother/grandmother. She is survived by husband Francis “Sonny” Pascuzzo; four children, Kimberly Pascuzzo of Dansville, Francis “Chip” (Shari) Pascuzzo Jr. and Thomas Pascuzzo, both of Greigsville, Debra (Richard) Logsdon of Leicester; five grandchildren, Lancing, Nathan and Hailey Pascuzzo, Cassandra and Lucas Logsdon; mother, Jean Gilliam of Florida; brother David (Linda) Baker of Florida; mother-in-law Matilda Pascuzzo of Greigsville; sister-in-law Carol Pascuzzo of Wadsworth, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Alfred Baker, father-in-law Frank Pascuzzo, step-father John Gilliam and brother-in-law John Pascuzzo. She was born Sept. 17, 1939 in Warsaw, N.Y. the daughter of Alfred and Jean Houser Baker. Visitation, at Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held June 16 at 11 a.m. at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home with Deacon George Spezzano officiating. Frederick Robertson III

Pharmacist

Frederick Robertson III, 83. of Caledonia died May 31, 2005 at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester. The son of Frederick and Helen Robertson Jr., he was born Oct. 12, 1921 in Buffalo, N.Y. Mr. Robertson worked for Milex Drugs as a pharmacist until his retirement. He served in World War II, and was a member of the Pharmacist Association of Rochester, the First Presbyterian Church, Caledonia, and the Caledonia Pistol Club. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; son David F. Robertson of Wyoming, N.Y.; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Steven Robertson Spiwak of W. Henrietta; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kevin (Bianca) Spiwak; great-granddaughter, Jadyn Spiwak. There were no calling hours. Family and friends attended his Memorial Service June 2 at the First Presbyterian Church, 3080 W. Main St., Caledonia. A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
