Joyce M. Cornell

Geneseo - Joyce M. Cornell, 71, died June 3, 2006 at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Cornell; her mother Florence Zeitvogel; and brothers, Eugene (Ozzie), Robert and Dick; and a sister Trudy Swift. She is survived by her children, Roger (Debbie) of Retsof, Robin (Dave) Pire of Perry; Gary (Maureen) of Mt. Morris, Tim of Geneseo, Curt (Chris) of Avon, Karen (Chuck) Tremblay of Geneseo; grandchildren, Ron (Tracy), Todd, Jeremy Cornell, Marty Maye, Tracy Preston (Miles), Michael (Kathy) Bundschuh, Holly, Gary (Julie) Cornell, Casey, Crystal, Cody Cornell, Danielle and Jim Tremblay; great grandchildren, Diamonique, Electra, Troy, Zakaree, Jaylin, Jason Bundschuh, Joann, Julie and Ted Cornell, and Zoe Cornell; a sister Shirley (Floyd) Robinson of Rochester; sisters-in-law, Shirley Wright of Florida and Edna Zeitvogel of Rochester; brother-in-law Bud Swift of Rochester; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends called Sunday at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St., in Geneseo. Services were held Monday at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Burial, Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. Brandon M. Dunning

Mt. Morris resident

Brandon M. Dunning, 20, of 3074 Ridge Road, Mt. Morris, died suddenly June 2, 2006 in Springwater, N.Y. He was born on Sept. 15, 1985 in Dansville the son of David Hynes and Pam Fogle. He last worked at Wendy's in Geneseo. He is survived by his mother Pam (Mike Gullo) of Mt. Morris; father David Hynes of Wayland; brother Jamie Stauffer of Florida and sister Jessica Dunning of Maryland; one nephew Ami Stauffer of Hornell; aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends called Monday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris. Burial, Greenmount Cemetery, Dansville. Memorials may be made to one's favorite charity. Stirland E. Harrop

Livonia resident

Stirland E. Harrop, 92, died May 30, 2006 at his home. He was born the son of Ernest and Anna Long Harrop on Nov. 28, 1913 in Livonia. He was a tool and die maker his entire life, working for many companies. He was a member of the Livonia Masonic Lodge and the United Church of South Livonia. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Fay (Marsh); cousins, Mrs. Bert (Nancy) Vallencount of Vermont and Robert (Judy) Long of Seneca Falls; also Pamela Kane, Martha Dygert and Roy Long and many devoted friends and caregivers. Leona Ruth Harvey

Mt. Morris resident

Leona Ruth Harvey, 72, of 122 Chestnut Lane, Mt. Morris, died July 15, 2005 at her home in Mt. Morris. She was born the daughter of Walter and Flora (Miller) Smith on April 26, 1933 in West Sparta, N.Y. She is survived by her four children, Penny Hintz, Dennis Harvey, Terry Harvey and Christopher Harvey; one grandson Daniel Harvey; brothers and sisters, Jean Kelly, Alzina Flint, Donald Smith, Betty Gilhouse, Joan Smith, Florine Wegman, Robert Johnson and Larry Smith; many nieces and nephews. No prior calling. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Tuscarora at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 10. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Patricia A. Hritz

Ionia - Patricia A. “Pat” Hritz, R.N. (Magin), died May 9, 2006. She is survived by her husband Karl; son Jeff (Donna) Hritz of Bloomfield, Ken Hritz of Lima; grandchildren, Andy and Kevin Hritz and Kris and Doreen Hritz; several cousins. She was a graduate of the Nursing School at Strong Memorial. She was a retiree of F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. No prior calling hours. Private services will be held with burial in Mapleview Cemetery, Cohocton. Contributions may be made to F.F. Wolcott Julius Humphrey, Jr.

A memorial service will be held for Wolcott Julius (Bud) Humphrey Jr., the former chairman, president and CEO of Financial Institutions, Inc. (FII), on Saturday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at United Church of Warsaw, corner of Main St. and E. Buffalo St. in Warsaw. Mr. Humphrey passed away April 29, 2006 after a brief illness in Sarasota, Fla. He was 82. During a banking career that spanned 47 years, Mr. Humphrey served as chairman, president and CEO of FII from 1959 to 1996, overseeing its transformation into a well-known and respected New York State bank holding company. Mr. Humphrey is survived by his wife, Patricia K. Humphrey; a daughter Page (Jim) Vernon of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and four sons, Peter G. (Sally) Humphrey of Warsaw, N.Y., John B. (Margaret) Humphrey of LeRoy, Thomas N. (Bonnie) Humphrey of Collierville, Tenn, and Mark O. (Jacqueline) Humphrey of Fort Pierce, Fla. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mr. Humphrey is predeceased by his son, Wolcott J. Humphrey III, his sister Margaret H. Wyckoff and his brother Donald G. Humphrey.
