Dr. Donald Louis Bonadonna

Dr. Donald Louis Bonadonna, 56, of West Point, Virginia, formerly of Bath and Mt. Morris, died April 28, 2002 at his home in Virginia. He was born the son of Louis and Frances (Piraino) Bonadonna on May 29, 1945 in Warsaw, N.Y. He graduated from Mt. Morris Central School and attended Ohio State University and graduated from Massachusetts College of Optometry. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Fort Dix, N.J. and Dugway Proving Ground in Utah. He practiced optometry in Bath for 30 years. He also served at the VA Hospital in Bath and served on the SUNY College of Optometry Board of Directors. He retired in 2000 and moved to West Point, Va. where he was a member of Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Parish. He was a member of the Bath Elks Club, American Legion Post in Bath and St. Mary's Church in Bath. He is survived by his wife Colleen Schafer Bonadonna (formerly of Watertown); daughter Melissa (Robert) Hebrank of W. Caldwell, N.J.; son Chad Bonadonna at home; parents, Louis and Frances Bonadonna of Mt. Morris; three sisters, Frances Lux of Shelby,N.C., Julie (Stephen) Dziewisz of Watertown, N.Y. and Jacqueline Bonadonna of Geneseo; one nephew Daniel Dziewisz and one niece Kellie Lux. He was predeceased by an infant son Brian. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), Mt. Morris where prayers will be said Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass a St. Patrick's Church at 9:30 with the Rev. Michael Brown officiating. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church, Home and Heart Project, 46 Stanley St., Mt. William A. Christ

William A. Christ, 63, of Old West Lake Road, Honeoye, died April 22, 2002 at F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. He was born the son of Norman and Dorothy Curtis Christ Sr. on Dec. 18, 1938 in Rochester. He was a retiree of Northeast Conveyors of Lima. A loving father, friend and confidant. Always there to share a laugh and a smile. His quiet strength and gentle ways will always be remembered. When Bill wasn't working he could be found with his family on his boat or playing his guitar. He is deeply missed. He is survived by his daughters, Robin (Stephen) Cashman of Conn., Kelly (Colm) Murphy of Webster, Tobi (Rik) Pfenninger of N.H., Wendy Christ of Farmington; grandchildren, William, Devin and Austin Cashman, Ethan and Paige Pfenninger and Liam Murphy; sisters, Deanna (Chuck) Wooden of Fairport, Nancy (Donald) Bellis of Canandaigua; brother Norman (Ann) Christ Jr. of Spencerport; several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Friends attended a memorial service April 27, 2002 at the Honeoye-Hemlock American legion on West Lake Road in Honeoye. Anna E. Cisinsky

Anna E. Cisinsky, 92, a retired seamstress for the Bridgeport, Connecticut Local Garment Union, died April 24, 2002 at the Livingston County Campus Skilled Nursing Facility in Mt. Morris. Mrs. Cisinsky resided on Retsof Ave. in Retsof prior to her entry into the SNF in March. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Gregory (Penny) Liptak of Retsof, William Liptak of New Britain, Conn.; grandchildren, Alex and Paige Liptak of Conn., Gregory II, James and Peter Liptak of Retsof; dear friends, Margaret and Marjorie Sorensen, Gen. Corwel, Darlene Musial and the Knapik family, all of Connecticut, Onnolee Keller of Retsof. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Erin Liptak. She was born Nov. 21, 1909 in Budapest, Hungary, the daughter of Charles and Theresa (Horvath) Velkey. She was proud to come to America at the age of 12. She was a longtime garment union representative for the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a past Senior Citizen of the Year in York. She will be sorely missed by the ducks, geese and chickens. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Hospice, 2 Livingston County Campus, Mt. Morris NY 14510. No prior calling hours. Private Funeral Services will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo at the convenience of the family.

Carter A. Fiegl

Carter A. Fiegl, age 1 year old, died April 24, 2002 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He resided on Harpinger Dr. in Gates with his parents and sister. He is survived by his parents, Martin and Jennifer (Marcin) Fiegl; his sister Taylor Fiegl; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Suzanne Marcin Jr. of Geneseo; paternal grandparents, Ron and Cindy Fiegl of Corfu; maternal great grandparents, Gerard and Stella Fox of Orchard Park, Esther Cullis of Hamburg; paternal great grandmother Eileen Cook of Brockton, N.Y.; uncles, Joseph Marcin III of San Jose, Calif. and Ron Fiegl Jr. of Corfu. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather Joseph Marcin Sr. He was born April 12, 2001 in Rochester, the son of Martin and Jennifer (Marcin) Fiegl. Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Friday. Memorials may be made to the family at 256 Harpington Dr., Rochester NY 14624 for MENKES RESEARCH. Funeral Mass was held April 27 at St. Mary's Church with Father Daniel McMullin officiating.

Florence C. Goering

Florence C. Goering, 89, of Conesus, died April 22, 2002. She was born the daughter of John and Josephine Beicheo Gall on Sept. 8, 1912 in Rochester. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Livonia. She was predeceased by her husband Leo in 1991. She is survived by her daughters, Dr. Elizabeth (John) Serrage of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, Mary Alice Goering of Portland, Maine; granddaughters, Natalie Serrage and Christine (Paul) Gross; great grandchildren, Justin and Melissa Gross; dear friends, Mary Iten of Conesus and Dr. Marjorie Boyd, Portland, Maine; several nieces and nephews. Friends called Thursday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15 in Livonia. Her Funeral Mass was held Friday at St. Joseph's Church in Livonia. Burial, St. Michael's Cemetery in Livonia. Elizabeth Mancuso

Elizabeth Mancuso, 37, of 7 Trumbull St., #3, Mt. Morris, died suddenly April 22, 2002. She is survived by her father Anthony T. Mancuso (Debora) and her mother Maryanne Mancuso; a brother, Anthony (Pattie) Mancuso; sisters, Linda M. Mancuso, all of Mt. Morris, Rose (Todd) Lubanaski of Leicester; half brothers, David (Kathleen) Mancuso of Silver Springs, James Mancuso of Perry; half sister Christine Myers of Silver Lake; nieces, nephews; aunts and uncles. Calling hours were April 24 at the Shepard Funeral Home Inc., 36 Chapel St., where a service was held following calling hours. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Mt. Morris.

John “Jack” L. Peri

John “Jack” L. Peri of Livonia died April 24, 2002 at the age of 50. He was born the son of Albert and Marilla Batzel Peri on Sept. 23, 1951 in Rochester. He was a meat butcher for many years. He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Marilla “Joyce” Peri. He is survived by his wife Chris of Livonia; his children, Bryan Peri of Baltimore Md., Corey Peri of New Oxford, Pa., Sarah (Matt) Bankert of Glenville, Pa.; Nicholas Peri of Livonia and Jacob Peri of Livonia; sisters, Bonnie (Jerry) Osborne of Avon, Joan (Jim) Annis of Livonia, Pam (Larry) Smith of Avon, Linda Peri of California; brother Robert “Bob” Peri of Geneseo; friend Diana “Ginger” Peri-Stock of York, Pa.; several aunts, uncles including Bob and Madeline Peri of Geneseo; also many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Friends called Sunday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15 in Livonia where funeral services were held Monday with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Taylor officiating. Burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo.
