Dolores J. Drew

Retired sales clerk

Dolores J. Drew, 75, a retired sales clerk in the food service department at SUNY Geneseo, died April 24, 2004 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Mrs. Drew lived on Meadow Dr. in Geneseo and had been a resident of the Livingston County Skilled Nursing Facility in Geneseo. She is survived by her children, Richard Drew of Earlville, NY, Marsha Garcia of Lakeville, Sandra (Victor) Mercado of LeRoy, Robert (Linda) Drew of Henrietta, Holley (Randy) Miller of Groveland, Felicia Sanbria of New York City; 18 grandchildren; eight great granchildren; sister Winnie (Robert) Kochalis of Spencerport; brother Malcomb (Dean) Hooper of Henrietta; sisters-in-law, Helen Drew of Honeoye, Martha Andrews of Avon; several nieces and nephews. She was born July 7, 1928 in Rochester, the daughter of William and Anna (Jezierski) Hooper. Visitation, at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 428, Geneseo, NY 14454.

Thelma D. Patrick

Dansville resident

Thelma D. Patrick, 87, formerly of 3 Meadowbrook Terrace, Dansville passed away April 26, 2004 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Thelma was born Dec. 6, 1916 in Trumansburg, NY the daughter of Harry and Ethel (Sherow) Davenport. She resided in Trumansburg for the early part of her life. Thelma and Edwin Patrick entered into a loving marriage Sept. 24, 1938 in Trumansburg and together they celebrated over 50 years of marriage. They moved to the Marcellus/Skaneateles area where they resided for approximately 55 years. About 11 years ago they moved to Dansville. Thelma and Edwin had a passion for golf and loved watching it on television. Rumor has it that she could tell you every person on the tour for that respective year. Thelma also had a passion for music. She played the piano and was a jazz fan. She was a past member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Marcellus and a past member of the Onondaga County Pomona Grange. Thelma was predeceased by her loving husband Edwin in 1999; her granddaughter Suzanne Davis in 2001 and her son-in-law Daniel Collins in 2003. She is survived by two daughters, Judith Collins of Springwater and Terry Campbell of St. Petersburg, Fla; three grandchildren, Barbara Grissom and her husband James of Stanhope, NJ, Janet Collins of Geneseo, and Christoper Campbell of Florida; five great grandchildren, Erica and Katie Bauer, Michael and Maria Davis and Daniel J. Grissom. Family and friends called Wednesday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 W. Naples St. in Wayland. Funeral Services followed calling hours at the funeral home with Pastors Robert and Cheryl Parker officiating. Contributions in Thelma D. Patrick's memory may be made to a hospice of the donor's choice.
