click here In Memoriam Loretta J. Buckley Geneseo resident Loretta J. Buckley, 55 of 200 Laughlin Lane in Geneseo, died Monday, April 11, 2005 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She is survived by her husband Michael, brother Daniel (Mary) Bauer of Lima, sister Debbie (John) Patrick of Perry, step father Clarence "Buster" Turybury of Leicester, step mother Genevieve Bauer of Kansas, step sister Alice Sherman of Kansas, step brother Steve Bailey of Warsaw, half brother William (Dee) Bauer of Kansas, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Christmas baby, she was born December 25, 1949 in Warsaw, the daughter of Alfred and Norma Brotherton Bauer. She was a longtime domestic employee of the Wadsworth Family at the Homestead in Geneseo. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church on Hailey Ave. in Geneseo. She was an avid collector of stuffed animals. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Thursday, April 14, 2005 from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 14, 2005 at 7:00 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Metzger of the Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. Mary A. Shafer Dansville resident Mary A. Shafer, 87 of 84 Baldwin Dr., Dansville, died April 10, 2005 at the Livingston County Campus Skilled Nursing Facility in Mt. Morris. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Lucy (Foch) Shivalone on May 30, 1917 in Groveland. Prior to her retirement in 1976 she was employed as an Aid at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 25 years. She was a former member of Holy Angels Church in Groveland. She was predeceased by her husband Earle in 2000. She is survived by her sister Lillian Garguiolo of Buffalo, and nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Funeral Serices were held Tuesday at the John W. Martin funeral Home, 37 Chape St. (Route 408) in Mt. Morris. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
