Harriett L. "Tottie"Anderson

Harriett L. "Tottie"Anderson, died on April 7, 2001, at her home in Avon. She was born on May 1, 1911 in Avon, the daughter of James D. Anderson, Sr. and Genevieve (Bogue) Anderson. She was an active member of the Avon Bridge Club, Central Presbyterian Church, and the Avon Historical Society. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held at the Central Presbyterian Church in Avon with the Rev. Alfreda Morse officiating. Contributions may be made to the Central Presbyterian Church, 133 Genesee St., Avon NY 14414 or the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 County Campus, Mt. Morris NY 14510 in her memory. Norma L. Johnson

Norma L. Johnson, 88, of East Ave., Springwater, died April 3, 2001 at her home after a long illness. She was born the daughter of Hartley and Enda Mae Mullin Shannon on Jan. 3, 1913, in Ancaster, Ontario, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband William and by sons, Richard and Ronald. She is survived by her children, Daniel Johnson of Springwater, Linda VanMarter of Florida, Wendy Johnson of Honeoye, Pamela (Craig) Salmon of Livonia, Patricia (John) Roots of Virginia Beach, Va., Laurine (Frank) Burgstaller, Gail (Don) Foell, Leonard, James (Delores) Benn, all of Canada; son-in-law Richard Altermar of Waterloo; 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; sister Bea Shannon of Canada; niece Bev (Brian) Osborne of Canada. Services will be held at a later date at the Zion Episcopal Church in Avon. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to the Zion Church West Window Fund, Avon NY 14414. Sarah A. La George

Sarah A. La George age 89 of 39 State Street, Mount Morris died Friday April 6, 2001 at Rochester General Hospital. She was born the daughter of Anthony and Nicolina (Coniglio) Liberti on March 15, 1912 in Avon, NY. Prior to her retirement in 1974 she was employed at Craig Colony in Sonyea for 25 years as a seamstress. She was a member of St. Patrickıs Church in Mount Morris where she belonged to the Rosary Society and the Bible Study Group and SCEA, AARP, and the Mt. Morris Senior Citizens Group. She is survived by 3 Children Dolores (Albert) Stein of Queensbury, NY, John (Betty) LaGeorge of Candor, NY and Donna (Joseph) LaChuisa of Walworth, NY. 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters Josephine Coniglio of Mount Morris and Ann Warmington of Florida. Several Nieces and Nephews. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel Street (Route 408), Mount Morris, NY where prayers will be said Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 9:30 at St. Patrickıs Church. The Reverend Michael Brown officiating. Interment St. Patrickıs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers. Memorial may be made to Walworth Ambulance Fund, Walworth NY 14568.

Angela C. Pilato

Angela C. Pilato, 93, a retiree of Champion Products in Geneseo, died April 9, 2001 at her residence on Melody Lane in Geneseo. She is survived by two daughter, Sally (William) Teresa of Geneseo, Sylvia (William) DeWald of Geneseo; daughter-in-law Betty Pilato of Washington; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; sister Eva Orman of Florida; brother Vito (Eleanor) Diliberto of Geneseo; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Angelo Pilato in 1981, her son Joseph Pilato, grandchildren Mariann Teresa, Linda Young and Rick Pilato, sister Lucy Costanzo, brothers Ross Joseph and Samuel Diliberto. She was born March 4, 1908 in Geneseo the daughter of Carlo and Salvatice Diliberto. Visitation was Tuesday. Funeral Mass was held Wednesday at St. Maryıs Church in Geneseo with Father William Gordinier officiating. Burial, St. Maryıs Cemetery in Geneseo. Adam Thompson

Adam Thompson, 78, of Avon, died on April 5, 2001 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. He was born on Dec. 28, 1922, in Ballymena, Ireland, the son of Adam Thompson and Margaret (McKeown) Thompson. He was a retired produce manager for the Super Duper Food Store in Avon. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Alice (Scott) Thompson of Avon; daughter Susan McFadden of Avon; four grandchildren, Adam, Rachel, Charles and Susan McFadden; two sisters, Bessie McWilliams, Jeanie Ross, both of Ireland; brother Tom Thompson of Ireland; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours and Funeral Services were held at the Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc. in Avon with the Rev. Garrett Herdter officiating. contributions may be made to the Hospice/Genesee Region Home Care Association, 70 Metro Park, Rochester NY 14623, in his memory. Interment, Avon Cemetery.

Frank C. Yohon

Frank C. Yohon, 97, formerly of 3244 Route 21 N., Wayland died Saturday April 7, 2001 at the McAuley Manor in Hornell after a long illness. Frank was born February 17, 1904 in Wayland the Son of Frank and Mary Mark Yohon and was a life resident of Wayland. He married the former Loretta Quanz at St. Josephs Church in Wayland in 1932. Frank was a farmer and owned and operated his own farm all of his life retiring in 1980. He was a Communicant of St. Josephs Church and a member of the Holy name Society. A past member of the Grange. Pre-Deceased by his wife: Loretta in 1996 and a Son Bernard in 1994. Frank is survived by 3 sons: Edward (Emma) Yohon of Rochester, Francis (Linda) Yohon of Dansville, and Norman (Janice) Yohon of Wayland. A Daughter-in-Law Kathy Yohon of Wayland. 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grand Children, 1 Sister: Irene Shults of Fairport. Several Nieces and Nephews. Friends may call 2-4 & 7-9 Monday at the St. George-Stanton Funeral Home, 109 West Naples Street, Wayland. A prayer service will be conducted in the Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. in St. Josephs Catholic Church, Wayland.
