Eleanor J. Campbell

Eleanor J. Campbell, 94, of Mumford, died March 18, 2002 at St. John's Home in Rochester after a long illness. Eleanor was born Feb. 18, 1908 in Meadville, Pa. to John and Anna (Van dervoort) Allen. Eleanor was a graduate of Highland Hospital. She was a public health nurse in Rochester, for the Town of Wheatland and worked part time at Genesee Hospital for many years. Eleanor was an active member of the Mumford United Presbyterian Church and the DAR (Gan-e-o-diya Chapter). She is survived by her daughter; Barbara Allen Campell (Mrs. John D. Tennant); grandchildren, Sarah and David Campbell Tennant; a nephew, nieces and many friends. Her husband Lawrence, five siblings and many dear friends predecease her. A Memorial Service to celebrate her long life was celebrated at the Mumford Presbyterian Church, 893 George St. in Mumford on March 21. Officiating the service was Rev. Anthony J. Ricciuti. Interment was held at Mumford Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Mumford United Presbyterian Church.

Joan G. Henderson

Joan G. Henderson, 73, of Avon, died March 19, 2002 at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, Va. after a long illness. She was born June 12, 1929 in Rochester to Richard H. and Charlotte (MaGee) Gilbert. Joan and her husband, Richard owned and trained race horses for many years. She enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her husband, Richard of Avon; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Charles Whitley of Gloucester Point, Va.; grandchildren, David, Jeffrey, Jennifer Whitley, all of VA; great grandson, Austin Whitley; sisters and brother-in-law, Sandra Eskic of Hendersonville, Tenn., Brenda and Roger Paddock of Perry, Sharon Huss of Wayland; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Mary Gilbert, Maurice and Janet Gilbert of Canaseraga; brother-in-law, Paul (Kay) Henderson; sister-in-law of Avon, Joan (John) Deragon of Albany; several nieces and nephews. Her son, Scott Henderson predeceases her. Joan will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Friends called March 22, at Stephenson-Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 350 Genesee St., Avon, where her Funeral Service was held March 23. Interment was held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Rd. North, P.O. Box 10609, Rochester NY 14610 or American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse NY 13220.

Ida M. Plano

Ida M. Plano, 80, of Wildbriar Dr., Livonia, died March 19, 2002. She was born the daughter of Michael and Lucy Campitello Ferrucci on Aug. 5, 1921 in Herkimer, N.Y. She was a member of the Livonia and Conesus area Senior Citizens Club. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph C. Plano of Sept. 22, 1976. She is survived by her children, Lucille Plano of California, Joseph (Dianne Bloch) Plano of Livonia, Carol (Veronica) Plano of Livonia, Michael Plano of Syracuse; eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Fred (Josephine) Ferrucci and Orlando Ferrucci, all of Herkimer; sister-in-law Marie Giardino of Rochester; several nieces and nephews. No prior calling. A memorial service was held Thursday at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., Route 15 in Livonia. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to Camp Good Days and Special Times, 1332 Pittsford-Mendon Road, Mendon NY 14506.

Lillian R. Worden

Lillian R. Worden of Poplar Hill Road, Lima formerly of Hilton, NY died Wednesday March 20, 2002 at the age of 91. She was born the daughter of James and Florence Glass Seidmore on February 4, 1911 in Sodus, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Albert J. Worden. She is survived by her sons James (Cynthia) Worden of Rush, NY, Terry Worden of California. Many Grandchildren. Sister Florence Sage of Naples,  NY. Nieces and nephews. No prior calling. Funeral services were private with burial in Parma Union Cemetery. Friends wishing may make memorial contributions to me American Cancer Society.
