Anne E. Bradley

Anne E. Bradley, 91, a resident of the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, died there Feb. 14, 2006. Mrs. Bradley was a longtime resident of Lima Road in Geneseo before her entry into the nursing home. She is survived by two sons, John (Joanne) Bradley of Port Charlotte, Fla. and Larry Bradley of Geneseo; six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; special friend, G. Marie Peterson of Geneseo; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 1988, her daughter Joanne in 1993. Ann and John were married in 1940. She was born Oct. 17, 1914 in Ridgeway, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Ernest P. and Stasia Donihee Lamping. She was a 60-year member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo and was Geneseo's Senior Citizen of the Year in 2003. She enjoyed country music and visiting with her many friends. Visitation was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home Inc. on Friday. Funeral Mass was held Feb. 18 at St. Mary's Church with Father Patrick Connor officiating. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 428, Geneseo NY 14454.

Richard Campbell

Former Caledonia resident

On February 16, Richard “Dick” Campbell, passed away peacefully, in Litchfield Park, Arizona from complications due to Alzheimer's disease. He was recently preceded in death by his former wife and caregiver, Mary Ann and his parents, Eugene and Margaret Campbell. He is survived by his three children, Richard Campbell of Frisco, Texas, Ann Campbell-Guillemette of Litchfield Park, Ariz. and John Campbell of St. Paul, Minn.; six grandchildren and two sisters, Margaret and Jane. Dick was born on Dec. 21, 1929 in Rochester [Caledonia], N. Y. to Eugene and Margaret Campbell. As a young boy he worked after school and during his summers at E.S. Campbell Welding Works in Caledonia, a business established by his father. After graduating from Caledonia High School he attended the Rochester Institute of Technology for two years before graduating in 1955 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University. He then served as an Officer in the ROTC at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, from 1955-1957. Dick joined the Trane Company in 1961 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Within a few years he was offered a position within the company for Societe Trane in Epinal, France. In 1977, he became President and Chief Operating Officer of Trane where he remained until 1985. Dick's professional associations included membership in the American Welding Society, American Society of Metals, National Association of Purchasing Management and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers [ASHRAE]. Dick married Mary Ann on July 19, 1959. A visitation will be held on February 23, from 6-8pm at Messenger Mortuary, 8555 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85255, phone [480] 502-3378. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church, 36811 N. Pima Road, Cavecreek AZ 85377, 480-488-2229. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Aquinas High School in La Crosse, Wisconsin. In addition, contributions may be sent to the E.S. Campbell Scholarship Fund. Josephine L. Coniglio

Mt. Morris resident

Josephine L. Coniglio, 92, of 37 Murray St., Mt. Morris, died Feb. 20, 2006 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was born the daughter of Anthony and Nikolena Liberti on Aug. 24, 1913 in Avon. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a Senior Account Clerk at Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the Rosary Society, Mt. Morris Senior Citizens Group, Literacy Volunteers of American and a former member of the Italian-American club. She is survived by three sons, Dr. Gerald Coniglio of Mt. Morris, Allen Coniglio of Buffalo and John (Cathy) Coniglio of Penfield; six grandchildren, one sister Ann Warmington of Fla.; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel in 1977. No prior calling. Memorial Mass will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church. Arrangements by John W. Harold B. Davis

World War II veteran

Harold B. Davis, 81, of 5258 Lakeville Road in Geneseo, died Feb. 19, 2006 at his home. He was born the son of Paul and Ruth (Marks) Davis on Dec. 18, 1924 in Rochester. He was a veteran of the Air Force during World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1983 he was employed as a Quality Control Engineer for Eastman Kodak at the Hawkeye Plant for 33 years. He was a member of the Lakeville United Church of Christ, the Livonia Masonic Lodge and Past Superintendent of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo. He is survived by his wife of nearly 44 years, Barbara “Bubbie” Masseth Davis; one brother Lovette (Barbara) Davis of Livonia; three nephews and five nieces; many great nephews and great nieces. He was predeceased by his parents, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Benjamin P. and Marian Masseth. Friends may call Saturday 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Lakeville United Church of Christ, where Memorial Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lakeville United Church of Christ. The family invites everyone to join them for a reception at the church following the Memorial Service. Lawrence Hansen

Former Mt. Morris resident

Lawrence Hansen, 87, of Mt. Morris-Warsaw, died Feb. 19, 2006 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital In Warsaw. He was born the son of Lawrence and Bertha Hansen on July 16, 1918 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a former resident of Craig Developmental Center in Sonyea and the Letchworth House of Livingston-Wyoming ARC in Mt. Morris. He was currently residing at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw since 2003. He is survived by his friends and caregivers at the Wyoming County SNF and Livingston-Wyoming ARC in Mt. Morris. No prior calling. Burial will take place on Feb. 28, 2006 at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. Arrangements by the John W. Martin Funeral Home in Mt. Morris.

Walter E. Pearson

World War II Army veteran

Walter E. Pearson, 83, of 5104 S. Livonia Road, Livonia, died Feb. 19, 2006 at the Bath Veterans Hospital in Bath, N.Y. He was born on Oct. 11, 1922 in Jamestown, N. Y. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II. Prior to his retirement he owned and operated heavy equipment in the Livonia area for several years. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Geraldine; three children; three stepchildren; several grand and great grandchildren; one sister. No prior calling. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Oakridge Cemetery in South Livonia with Rev. Susan Forsythe officiating. Katherine E. Sims

Former town clerk

Katherine E. “Katie” Sims, 74, of Caledonia, died Feb. 7, 2006 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center, Lakeland, Fla. She was born April 10, 1931 in Caledonia to Merle and Marion Sisson. Katie served 16 years as the Caledonia Town Clerk, and 18 years as the co-owner and operator for the family's business, Genesee Country Campground from which she retired last year. She is survived by her husband, Jack of Caledonia; son and daughter-in-law, Skip and Judy Sims; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Tibor Kooy, all of Caledonia; grandchildren, Candi (Rob) Werkmeister, Alicia and Nathan Sims, Rachel and Matthew Kooy and her great-granddaughter, Emma Werkmeister; brothers, Don (Marion), Ed (Lois), Dick (Ruth) Sisson; several nieces , nephews and many great friends. Family and friends called Feb. 12 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. Her Funeral Service was held Feb. 13, at the First Presbyterian Church, Caledonia. A spring interment will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, York. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Upstate NY, 15 Prince St., Rochester NY.

Marcella F. Witzel

Xerox retiree

Marcella F. Witzel, 96, of Livonia, formerly of Rochester, died Feb. 21, 2006 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia. She was born the daughter of Frank and Julia (Vogel) Witzel on Oct. 15, 1909 in Rochester. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Xerox Corporation in Webster. She was a member of Holy Ghost Church in Chili. She is survived by her brother Charles Witzel of Geneseo; two nieces and one nephew. No prior calling. Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church in Chili. Burial, Holy Ghost Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Arrangements by the Kevin W.
