James Joseph Duggan

Army Air Corps veteran

James Joseph Duggan, 84, of Ozark, Ala., formerly of Rochester, died Jan. 22, 2007 at Dale Medical Center in Ozark, Ala. He was born the son of David Joseph and Mary Victoria (Teitsworth) Duggan on March 29, 1922 in Groveland, N. Y. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corps during World War II. Prior to his retirement he had lived in Rochester and moved to Ozark, Ala. in 1986. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Daleville, Ala. He is survived by his two sisters, Mary Johnsonbaugh of Ozark, Ala. and Helen Cassidy of Rochester. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Mary Duggan. Friends called Jan. 24 at the Holman Funeral Home of Ozark, Ala. Mass was said Jan. 25 at St. John's Catholic Church in Ozark with the Rev. Paul Egbe officiating. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mount Morris. Memorials may be made to the St. John's Catholic Church, Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1008, Ozark, AL 36361. Local arrangements by the JOHN W. John H. Miller

World War II veteran

John. H. “Jack” Miller, 81, a retired electrician for Buffalo Electric Company, died Jan. 19, 2007 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. Mr. Miller resided on Center St. in Geneseo and was previously from Buffalo. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Weick Miller; daughter Nancy (Paul) Steltzer of Geneseo; grandchildren, Scott (Anna) Steltzer, Nicholas Steltzer and Denna Steltzer; great grandchildren, Colton Steltzer and Susan Steltzer; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Sally Miller Wagner. He was born Feb. 23, 1925 in Buffalo, the son of William and Edith Wise Miller. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 41 Retirees Club in Orchard Park, the China, Burma and India Veterans Association and a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a longtime member of St. Michael and All Angels Church of Buffalo. No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, Jan. 25 at 4 p.m. at Christ Community Church 26 Center St. in Geneseo with Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Interment, Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown, Pa. Michael J. Peritore

Mount Morris resident

Michael J. Peritore, 56, of 4 School St. in Mount Morris, died Jan. 20, 2007 at his home. He was born the son of Michael and LaVerne Peritore on April 30, 1950 in Dansville. He was employed at Mount Morris Central School for the last five years and had previously worked at Eastman Kodak in Rochester for 23 years. He is survived by his two sons, Michael (Nicole) and Justin Peritore, both of MA; former wife and friend Gail Sherman of Mount Morris; brother David (Misty) Peritore of Dansville; three sisters, Antoinette (Ray) Goodman of Mount Morris, Susan Peritore of Dansville and Tina Harris of Castile; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brothers, Ronald and Gary. No prior calling. Memorial Services were held Wednesday at the John W. Martin Funeral Home, 37 Chapel St. (Route 408), in Mount Morris. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Hospice Fund, Murray Hill Dr., Mount Morris NY 14510. Andrew T. “Andy” Price

Lakeville - Andrew T. “Andy” Price, 39, a self employed contractor, died Jan 19, 2007 at the Hospeace House in Naples, N.Y. Mr. Price had battled ALS and been a resident of the Livingston County CNR in Mount Morris. He had resided in Lakeville prior to his illness. He is survived by his children, Carly, Abby and Andrew Price, all of Mount Morris; his fiance Jackie Wallace and her daughters, Marissa and Vanessa, all of Prattsburgh; brothers, Samuel (Jackie) Price of Avon, Daniel (Sue) Price of Conesus Lake, Lewis (Barb) Price Jr. of Piffard, Milton (Missy) Price of Florida, Donald (Barb) Price of Leicester; sister Betty (Scott) Gaskins of Florida; sister-in-law Diane Price of Lakeville; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Terry and Kent Cartwright of Portageville, Peter and Mary Pummell of Mount Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Lewis Price Sr. and his brother Arthur Price. He was born Dec. 19, 1967 in Dansville the son of Lewis and Sarah Lowery Price. Visitation, at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 4-7 p.m. where Funeral Services will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor William Lowery officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospeace House, 7824 County Rd. 33, Naples NY 14512.

Joseph Trippi

Army veteran

Joseph Trippi, 76, of Newark, Calif., formerly of Mount Morris, died suddenly Jan. 12, 2007 in Newark, Calif. He was born the son of Joseph and Josephine (Guarino) Trippi on July 22, 1930 in Mount Morris. He was a graduate of Mount Morris Central School and Alfred University. He was a veteran of the Army. Prior to his retirement he was employed as Comptroller for the Ray L. Hellwig Plumbing Contractor Company in California. He was predeceased by his son Michael. He is survived by his wife Donna (Mohar) Trippi; five children, Joseph (Jan), Valerie (Bruce), Gregg (Debbie), Carol (Joe) and Samantha (Dave); six grandchildren; two brothers, Matthew (Phyllis) Trippi of Mt. Morris, Charles (Isella) Trippi and sister Josephine (Clarence) Gray; several nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior calling. Memorial Service and interment was held in Newark, Calif. A Mass will be said at St. Patrick's Church at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the JOHN W.
