The Clarion Call

Publisher Corrin Strong has been writing a weekly column commenting on the passing scene since 1989. He has won the grudging praise of readers who typically say, "I don't agree with everything you say, but it is the first thing I read in the paper every week." After years of trying, in 2003 he finally won 3rd place in the Best Humor Column from the NYPA.
